L-Plate As Tauranga’s oldest driving school we are still focused on delivering the best driving education possible. Emphasize on quality and confidence. A confident driver is a safe driver.

I’ve always been passionate about driving and teaching others how to drive. At the age of 20 I was schooled in The Netherlands to be a certified driving instructor. I have build up a lot of experience (15 years) in teaching in the busy and hectic traffic in Holland. During my career I’ve specialised in training students who lack confidence and to train students with special needs. It gives me great pleasure to see them change and become safe and confident drivers.

After arrival in New Zealand I’ve done the New Zealand training as well to become a certified instructor. Once the opportunity crossed my path to take over A1 driving school I could not let is pass.
