Congratulations Denise, Chelsey and Bianca with passing your restricted test!!! Well done :) And Kyle and Shannon are now the proud owner of a full licence! Great work!. . . . . . . . . . . . . . Next StreetTalk course starts in July, be quick and book!

StreetTalk

The Street Talk Course (Defensive Driving) consists of four theory sessions and one hour in-car session.

The first session is about the total driving picture. We talk about the following;

  • What is a safe driver?
  • Am I a safe driver?
  • What is it about people that effect safety?
  • Homework: in car training and interviewing

Second session is about Risk and Reality.
We discuss awareness of risk in driving and major human risk factors.Homework is focused on risks taken by yourself while driving,

Third session is about Thinking of Change. We discuss methods to change your own behaviour and how change happens and after that we have as homework Goal setting and monitoring.

Fourth session is all about Hazard training. Training hazard awareness skills and how to practise and develop hazard perception skills.

The whole training is about awareness of your own driving behaviour, so you get homework after each session that you have to do in the car.

After those four sessions I'll take you out for a drive and put everything you've learnt into practise. After succesful completion of the course you will receive a certificate and you’ll be allowed to sit the Full licence test 6 months earlier.So instead of 18 months on your restricted, you can do your full licence test after 12 months.

If you do have more questions, please don’t hesitate to ring me.

The next StreetTalk course is Tuesday 6 April at 5.30

We still have some spaces left, so please call or txt to book.
